Philosophy

Eco-dinky is about creating fun clothing for children with minimal environmental impact.

Eco-dinky clothing is made form roll ends, damaged fabrics, donated fabrics, pre-loved clothing and furnishings, charity shop and car boot treasures, leftover factory threads, zips and buttons. Surprisingly, most materials are previously unused and anything else is carefully washed.

Choose from my wonderful collection of treasures or send in your own pre-loved items. I try to make use of everything which comes my way, even the smallest scrap of fabric can be used in some feature or embellishment. With an extra bit of chopping, unpicking and creativity almost anything can be made into something beautiful.

My clothing is designed entirely for the children who wear it, with the intention of inspiring the maximum possible dancing, twirling and delight. My mission is fully accomplished if, at the end of the day, your child demands to wear their outfit to bed complete with favourite accessories.

Materials are locally sourced and garments are handcrafted in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
